Things I'm listening to and might need to buy soon: (you should probably check it out...hint...hint)
1) Cataldo - Signal Flare -- folky songwriter (Eric Anderson) from Idaho and he likes the banjo
2) The Weepies - Hideaway -- Husband and wife duo -- Not quite mates of state but sweet in their own way
3) Tarkio - Colin Meloy before the decemberists
4) the raveonettes - lust, lust, lust --- New album and i'm liking it
5) Sun Kil Moon - April --- Just good...
6) Zykos - Keep It Light --- same
Ok...you win.
Everyone always tells me that everything I listen to sounds the same and I have been denying it for years but if I can't believe what real people tell me I guess i'll have to believe the "think tanks".
I can put in pretty much any of my favorite bands on Pandora and thus ensues a randomized selection that might as well be coming off my ipod. There are plus-es and minus-es of course. Every song is fantastic on the one hand. On the other I already have and know all the songs.
At least I know what I like I suppose...
The one thing it doesn't know is how much I like bluegrass as well as slow-core, melodic, indie music.
